Arts and Crafts!

We got creative as we made our own bandana, scarf or flag!

We also sculpted our portrait out of clay!

Nature center!

In nature center we got to feel a snake!

Go on a nature hike and show the class what we found..

And play with gak!

Riding the horse!

A definite camp favorite is riding the horse down the horse trail!!

Pool!

Another favorite is the POOL!! Who doesn't love splashing around and hanging out by the nice cool water on a summer day at camp!

Fine arts!

We can't forget about fine arts! This is a time where we can let loose and just be silly!

Sports and recreation!
 We round up the activity list with sports and recreation where we got to shoot bow and arrows in archery!!

 We've been having a blast here with all these fun activities!! Camp has been great and we still have so much more to do!!!!!!

Ceramics!

Today we had ceramicist Neil come to Camp Paivika to do ceramics with us!

With the wonderful assistance of Chuck and of course Sydney too :)

Session 1 2013 Day One!

Session 1 Summer 2013 Day One!

   So excited for the start of a great week at camp!
The day started off with nice weather and decorating our activity bag!

 We recognized some familiar Paivikian faces and met new ones!

The end of our first amazing day here at camp was spent at the opening camp fire :)

Open House 2013

Welcome to Camp Paivika Summer 2013! 

Ready?! Because here we go!!!! 

Welcome family, campers and staff to Camp Paivika's Open House!!

 We enjoyed lunch and snacked on yummy treats from the snack shack while meeting new faces! Popcorn, cotton candy and snowcones!

The staff showed some camp spirit!

We had so much fun playing carnival games! Thank you staff for putting on a great carnival!
